About The Event
What, How & Why of Trauma Healing Groups
Some experiences in life are so painful, they cause deep and lasting suffering. This is called trauma. Trauma keeps people from experiencing the life-transforming message of God’s Word. Our programs combine the wisdom of scripture, proven mental health practices, and the power of community to help people heal.
What is a Trauma Healing Group? A Bible-based small group curriculum that helps people begin to heal from grief, loss, or trauma and helps reconnect people with the Bible, God, others, and themselves.
â– Consists of 6 lessons, each 1hr-1.5hrs long
â– Facilitated by a trained leader
â– Program content delivered through an app on the phone, with the leader facilitating conversations, questions, and group discussions through prompts in the lesson
The group is meeting in person on Tuesday and Thursday, August 8th- August 24th from 6:30 pm to 8:30 pm EST
