Life is not easy and bad things happen to all of us that cause our hearts to be wounded—including teens. Unattended wounds of the heart can result in poor health, bad behavior, depression, violence, difficulty in school and many other negative symptoms.

About The Event
Life Hurts, Love Heals Teen Gathering is for youth ages 14-18 and will meet Monday-Friday, July 11-15, from 9:00 AM- 3:30 PM. It will be held at the Urban Worship Center, located at 2038 East Cumberland St., Philadelphia, PA 19125. Meals and materials will be provided.
Teens will learn how to heal from the hurt that life can bring. We will discuss topics such as:
Am I important to anyone?
Why do I hurt so much?
How do I connect with my feelings?
How do I deal with my pain?
