She was involved in the Jackson Woolworth Sit-in and worked alongside the likes of Stokley Carmichael and Medgar Evers. Her son, Loki Mulholland, produced multiple documentaries including, The Uncomfortable Truth, an insightful exploration of the origins and history of racism in America.  Guests are encouraged to view the documentary on Amazon or on our Guests' website:  https://joantrumpauermulholland.org/educators
