As we live through a pandemic and social unrest, social workers, counselors, and therapists must prepare for the resulting traumatic impact on their clients. This practical and interactive session will combine mental health best practices with biblical principles to equip Christian social workers and counselors with:
- trauma-informed care basics,
- exposure to biblical trauma healing material and program, and
- time for reflection on how their organization or practice can expand upon trauma care.
This session is offered on Monday, August 30th from 6:00 pm - 9:00 pm.
